Webinar on ‘Women in Human Engineering’
Being a successful engineer is tough but when a woman attains that place it really thrills the world. SWE has been running for decades to encourage women engineers.
CIT is an international affiliate of Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
On 18th December 2020, Cambridge Institute of Technology organized a webinar together with SWE. It started by 05.30PM and continued. The members of SWE joined the webinar.
Prof. Drs. Marianne J. Franzen, Head – International Consultancy & Industrial Engagement and Mohini Vashdev is the program manager of SWE. Dr. Indumathi, Dr. Varalatchoumy, Dr. Suma were the key speakers of this webinar, presented on the topic “Women in Human Engineering”
Dr. Indumathi G began the session by presenting about the Importance of Women in Engineering and technology. It came across various other topics like women workforce, challenges and many more. The journey of other women engineers and their personally experienced stories are also shared. Every member of SWE shared their point of view about the topic.
