Ethnic Day of Cambridge Institute of Technology was held on 4th May 2019, Saturday for all the departments. Students from ECE department came in their best ethnic wear thus celebrating the spirit of a globalized world within the expansive walls of an educational institution which aims every day at reaching out to a large number of enthusiastic young minds who want a secular, vibrant and an engaging learning ambiance to grow into knowledgeable and independent individuals. The department conducted a competition from 10.30am to 11.30am in 3rd Floor ,Seminar hall wherein 2 winners were chosen for the “Best Ethnic Wear” based on the authenticity of their clothes, their understanding of the uniqueness of the respective attire and their presence of mind assessed by the Judges for the day, Dr. Indumathi.G and Prof. Srinivasalu.G. Faculties and students from the complete ECE department witnessed the highly delightful function. Mr. Ethnic and Miss. Ethnic of the contest was Mr. Kaverappa (6th Sem ECE) and Miss. Rakshitha (4th sem).The brilliant students and toppers, winners of Techfest, forum technical and sports activities were felicitated with mementos and certificates. The overall championship for sports and co-curricular activities was won by the Department of ECE for the academic year 2018-19.
