The department of HRD offers trainings in various fields including Business English Communication certification, Aptitude training (Quant, Verbal, Logical, Reasoning, Problem Solving, Resume Building, Interpersonal Skills), Personality and Interpersonal skill Building etc.
Placement Training Process at Cambridge Institute of Technology
Placement Training starts from the first semester itself with training provided by industry experts. Training programmes are chalked out based on the company requirement and also branch specific. Pre-assessment of all the students in the areas of Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability will be done before training. Individual reports to the students indicating their assessment scores, strengths and areas of improvement would also be provided.
Training methodology would be structured based on the assessment performance. The sole purpose of providing this kind of training is to ensure that students are industry ready or in simple words be ready for placements.
The training modules spread over 198 hours across 5 Semesters (from 3rd to 7th) focuses on building the employability skills of a student. The modules are designed keeping in mind the requirements for the students of Engineering appearing for their placement process. These modules structured to teach students in all the relevant concepts and expose them to most of the patterns set by the companies. The advantage of being a student of Cambridge is to have skill set acquired by students and being placement ready for both IT and core companies. Third year students have received internship offers in reputed industries. A few of them are engaged in Internships in R & D organizations.
Students at CITech have bagged over 453 jobs in last two years with companies hiring in large numbers for core engineering profiles.
